Peter Lang, honorary member of the University Mozarteum Salzburg, where he teaches piano and served as director of the International Summer Academy, of the Int. Mozart-Piano-Competition and as head of the department of keyboards for several years. Juror at competitions (Tchaikovsky Moscow, Iturbi Valencia et.al.). Concerts in Europe, both Americas and Far East, recently performances of all 32 piano-sonatas of L.v.Beethoven in cycles of 8 concerts.

Course description

• Active participants will receive a minimum of 4 lessons (45 minutes each), they also may attend their colleagues’ lessons.
• Passive participants may listen to all lessons.
• Some active participants may perform in Vienna’s Mozarthaus on the evening of September 13.

• If you send a recording of one étude (study) and one classical piece and one piece of your choice (CD, Video or www (youtube, dropbox et al.)) simultaneously with the application and the application fee your status as an active/passive participant will be confirmed within two weeks.
  (Instead of sending a recording you also may do an audition in Vienna on September 7, 10:00 a.m., but this without prior guarantee about your status as an active or passive participant. )
• Your registration as participant comes into effect with receipt of the course fee before August 15, 2015 (€ 400,- for active participance, € 150,- for passive participance).
• The number of participants is limited, please register in time.

Fee

  refundable only if masterclass is overbooked or cancelled by the management.
• Course fee:
  • for active participants: € 400,- (EURO),
    refundable only if registration is withdrawn before August 15, 2015 or if masterclass is cancelled by the management.

Standard terms and conditions

• Practicing rooms (€ 10 ,- per hour) may be booked and payed for at the beginning of classes.
• Please take care of your own health and accident insurance.
• Participation in the masterclass occurs at the participant’s own risk. Participants are responsible for damage which they may cause.
• Liability for compensation, in so far as it is not based on intent or gross negligence is out of the question, in particular if the masterclass has to be cancelled.
• It is agreed that Austrian law applies for all conflicts resulting from or related to the business relationship under exclusion of norms of international private law and of the UN Convention on Contracts for the international sale of goods. The place of jurisdiction for all conflicts resulting from or related to the business relationship is Salzburg, Austria.
• Basically, when in doubt, the German version shall prevail.
